Kent House

Located in glamorous Knightsbridge, opposite Hyde Park, the venue provides an elegant setting for conferences, press days, receptions, gala dinners, summer parties, private events and Christmas parties.

Kent House Knightsbridge is a versatile Victorian townhouse, with a Royal past dating back to King George III, that stylishly combines historical elegance with the intimacy of a private house, and boasts many beautiful period features including ornate cornicing, marble floors, a sweeping staircase and skylight. Kent House Knightsbridge is ideal for 50 to 300 guests.

A prestigious historic London events venue dating from 1790s, this townhouse is perfect for corporate events, product launches, weddings and parties. Free of the restrictions of listed building status, the venue is a blank canvas that can be fully customised to all your event theme or brand needs. Exclusive hire provides access to all the event spaces, including four main flexible spaces and two terraces.

MARBLE HALL

Guests are welcomed into the classical splendour of Kent House Knightsbridge’s Marble Hall. Suitable for receptions and formal greeting parties, the black and white marbled flooring is complemented by impressively high ceilings and contemporary lighting. This space is very popular for drinks receptions or to greet and register guests for a more formal event.

THE RUTLAND ROOM

The Rutland Room has been refurbished this summer in neutral light tones. Its beautiful proportions and high ceiling facilitate seated dinner functions for up to 60 people or receptions for 150 people. Licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, for up to 96 people, the Rutland Room can be used in conjunction with the rest of the House for a unique wedding breakfast with dining and dancing.

THE LIBRARY

Slightly smaller than The Rutland Room and with a warm intimacy, The Library was in fact the original hallway of the house, prior to the redesign in the nineteenth century. Both The Rutland Room and The Library are perfect for smaller intimate gatherings and have also recently been granted a civil wedding license for civil wedding ceremonies for up to 72 people, providing an intimate environment for small wedding parties. A warm, elegant room The Library can accommodate up to 40 seated guests for dinner, with the capacity increasing for cocktail gatherings.  It is also a popular space for a break out area for press days and conferences.

THE SANCTUARY

At first floor level The Sanctuary has three inter-connecting rooms with floor to ceiling windows. The largest single space within Kent House Knightsbridge, the Sanctuary was used as a Ballroom in the early part of the 20th century and now provides an elegant, neutral backdrop and highly flexible space as it can be used in a variety of formats or as one wide space opening out onto our terrace. In keeping with the sympathetic refurbishment of Kent House Knightsbridge, The Sanctuary retains the essence of architectural scale and splendour that characterises this splendid venue and is a highly flexible space for dining and dancing and is also very popular for daytime corporate events including fashion shows.
